Kevin was born and raised in Lewis County, Washington. After high school he attended Centralia College, where he received numerous academic awards, including selection to the National Dean's List for Academic Achievement, admittance to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and was included on the Centralia College President's List in recognition of superior scholarship.
He went on to study business and finance at Saint Martin's University, graduating with honors, and earned his Juris Doctorate with honors from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark in Portland, Oregon. He was admitted to the Washington State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington in 2012.
Kevin joined Scheibmeir, Kelly & Nelson PS as a shareholder in January of 2023. His practice spans litigation and transactions in estate planning and probate, business and corporate law, real estate, landlord-tenant matters, municipal law work, contracts, and criminal defense.
Kevin currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Possibilities Women's Center, and previously served on the board of Centralia Christian School, and is a past vice president of the Lewis County Bar Association. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, reading, streaming television shows, and studying theology.
